Nail Technicians are responsible for providing nail care services to clients based on their specific needs and preferences, such as polish colors, preferred nail length and nail health.

Specific Nail Technician job duties and responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and shaping clients’ nails with chemicals and sanitized nail tools
• Removing existing acrylic nail residue and previously applied nail polish from fingernails and toenails
• Consulting with clients on nail polish color preferences, nail art preferences and desired nail length and shape
• Sterilizing nail tools and equipment prior to use and after each nail painting session
• Massaging clients’ feet, arms and hands

Specific Nail Technician skills and qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Past work in a salon setting and/or Nail Technician training
• Strong communication skills and actively participate in team task and projects
• Friendly demeanor/ability to chat with customers when performing manicures and pedicures
