Miya has been a stylist for 2 years, graduating from the Paul Mitchell School. She started in the Associate Training Program at The James and stayed on as a full-time stylist. Miya has learned that the consultation process, asking questions, and listening are great ways to develop client relationships and build trust. Miya finds that color and highlights are a great way to express her creative side, and is excited when a client wants to try something new.
When not styling, Miya is also creative and artistic at home. She is interested in all types of art and paints watercolors. She also created the fun images on The James signs throughout the boutique. Miya has also taught herself to play the guitar.
Miya’s enthusiasm for her new career is infectious, and the team is “all in” to see her grow!
